Role Description The Sr. Counselor – Study Abroad & Immigration will provide end-to-end guidance to individuals seeking international education and immigration opportunities. This full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves conducting detailed counseling sessions, understanding client aspirations and eligibility, and recommending suitable countries, courses, institutions, or immigration pathways.

The Sr. Counselor will explain admission and visa procedures, assist clients with documentation, application forms, and interview preparation,



and coordinate with internal teams and international partners to ensure smooth processing. Daily responsibilities include managing inquiries, maintaining accurate records in CRM or related systems, conducting follow-up calls or meetings, and supporting seminars, workshops, and information sessions.

The role also includes staying updated on changing immigration policies, university requirements, exam criteria, and market trends to provide accurate, current advice.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, including the ability to assess client profiles, understand goals, and recommend appropriate study abroad or immigration options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in clear verbal and written communication and the ability to build trust with diverse clients.
- Experience in overseas education consulting, immigration services, or related fields, preferably in a senior or client-facing role.
- Solid organizational and documentation abilities, including managing application checklists, maintaining records, and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of major destination countries’ education systems, visa requirements, and standardized tests (IELTS, PTE, GRE, SAT, CELPIP) and willingness to stay updated on policy changes.

- Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and basic office software for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach with problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline
