nJob Summary

nWe are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in building, integrating, and optimizing enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

n

nThis role requires a strong development-oriented professional who can independently design, develop, troubleshoot, and support data integration solutions in an offshore delivery environment.

n

nKey Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines using Informatica IDMC, with a strong focus on Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
n
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise data integration and migration initiatives.
n
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
n
- Write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, scheduling, and operational support.
n
- Develop Python-based solutions for data processing, automation, and workflow optimization.
n
- Integrate data across cloud and on-premises systems while ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability.
n
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
n




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and application teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
n
- Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and deployment processes within an offshore delivery model.
n

nRequired Skills & Qualifications

- 7-10 years of overall experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
n
- Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
n

nStrong expertise in:

n

- Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
n
- Cloud Application Integration (CAI)
n
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations and performance optimization.
n
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
n
- Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting.
n
- Experience working with at least one of the following cloud data platforms:

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
n
- Databricks
n
- Microsoft Azure
n
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and effectively in an offshore delivery environment.

nPreferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data engineering projects.

- Experience integrating enterprise applications using cloud-native integration services.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.
