Role Description

n

This is a full-time, in office role located in Bengaluru for a Research Analyst. The Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting market and statistical research, analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct research and analysis on mutual funds, equities, and other investment products to evaluate performance, risk, and growth potential.
n
- Analyze stocks held within mutual fund portfolios to understand sector exposure, valuation, and their impact on fund performance.
n
- Evaluate Portfolio Management Services (PMS) including portfolio composition, strategy, and risk-return characteristics.
n
- Track global markets, economic trends, and investment themes to identify potential investment opportunities.
n
- Prepare research reports, fund comparison notes, and presentations for internal teams and management.
n




- Support the investment solutions/advisory team with insights for portfolio construction and optimization.
n
- Monitor fund performance, benchmarks, and key financial indicators to identify outperforming and underperforming strategies.
n
- Assist senior management with strategic research, market analysis, and ad-hoc projects to support business growth.

Qualifications n

n

n
- Graduate in any stream
n
- Postgraduate in Finance / MBA (Finance) preferred
n
- 2–3 years of relevant experience as an Analyst in capital markets, investment research, or wealth management
n

Software & Tools Required n

- Microsoft Excel (Advanced) – financial analysis, modelling, pivot tables, dashboards
n
- Microsoft Power Point – investment presentations and reporting
n
- Microsoft Copilot – research assistance and productivity enhancement
n
- Canva – creating visually appealing research reports and presentations
n
- Morningstar Direct / Value Research / CRISIL – mutual fund and market research
n
- Power BI or Tableau – data visualization and analytics
n
- MS Word / Google Workspace – documentation and reporting
n
- Python or R (basic knowledge) – data analysis and automation (optional)
