- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch materials as per production requirements.
- Follow approved patterns, measurements, stitching specifications, and work instructions.
- Ensure proper alignment, stitching quality, thread tension, and finishing.
- Inspect stitched products for defects and rectify minor sewing defects where possible.
- Maintain the required production quantity and quality standards.
- Follow instructions from the Team Leader/Supervisor and coordinate with the production team.
- Handle sewing machines and tools safely and responsibly.
- Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free from unnecessary materials.
- Report machine breakdowns, needle issues, electrical problems, or other abnormalities immediately.
- Follow workplace safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Minimize material wastage and use fabric, thread, and other materials efficiently.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the sewing area.
- Support other production activities as assigned by the supervisor.
