Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development and AWS API Gateway to design develop and maintain scalable backend services within the JAVAAWS ecosystem

Job Description

Design develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java Build and optimize RESTful APIs leveraging AWS API Gateway for high performance scalability and security Implement microservices architecture following domaindriven and eventdriven design patterns Utilize AWS cloud services to deploy manage and scale applications in a cloudnative environment Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including architects product owners and QA to define and deliver current features Ensure comprehensive documentation related to system architecture API design and code Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment CICD pipelines to automate releases Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software applications to improve functionality and performance

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop backend components and microservices using Java and AWS API Gateway Configure and manage API throttling quota management security policies and IAM roles in AWS API Gateway Implement security best practices for application and API development Monitor application and API performance implementing improvements for high availability and fault tolerance Drive engineering best practices focusing on automation and testdriven development Mentor and support junior developers within the team Actively participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the codebase and development processes
