Required Skills:

- Knowledge about various types of measuring instruments & its practical working experience in incoming / in process or PDI.
- Basic knowledge about different types of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal / fabrication & machining along with their controls.
- Essential hard skills – CAPA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC & reading technical drawings.
- Positive communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Familiar with Quality & Environmental Management System (ISO 9001 / IATF 16499 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 etc.).
- Direct experience of onsite supplier audits / evaluation.
- Direct experience on parts inspection & process controls at supplier end.
- Hands on experience performing root cause analysis & correcting / preventive actions.
- Knowledge about different material grades of Sheets / Alloy Steel / Aluminum / Plastics etc. & their interlinking / substitution with German material grades.
- Basic knowledge of SAP & it’s practical usage in Quality & Material management module.

Task/ Responsibilities:

Inspection Methodology and Testing

- Create and instruct quality assurance concepts. This also includes initial sample test reports. Carry out quality assessment and acceptance following the introduction of new processes and coordination with interface departments.
- Create inspection plans with critical dimensions for existing drawings.




- Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and functional tests on incoming materials, parts, and components according to test plan.
- Knowledge to use various inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges etc.).

Supplier Quality Management

- Preparing and leading quality reviews/meetings.
- Draw up quality assurance agreements with suppliers.
- Carrying out and supporting technical audits in accordance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16499 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 internally/externally. Implementing and developed quality standards across the board monitoring / auditing / documenting.
- Claim credit notes for rejection cases.
- Working with suppliers to address quality issues & improve product quality.
- Ensuring that suppliers adhere to quality requirements.

Documentation and Reporting

- Preparing and maintaining documentation related to quality inspections.
- Generating reports on quality performance and issues.
- Participating in quality meetings and presentations.

SAP

- Parts disposition in SAP.
- Clearance of Quality notifications in SAP.
- MM & QM module - data update in SAP.
- P.O. creation & further execution.

Education & Qualification:

- BE/ B. Tech - Mechanical / Automobile / Manufacturing or Industrial engineering.
