Position Description:

"Key Responsibilities
Configure, develop, and maintain NICE Actimize DART (Detection and Research Tool) views and investigative components.
Create, save, modify, and execute investigative queries against defined tables, logs, and transaction datasets.
Design and configure DART Views to support AML, Fraud, Compliance, and Investigations teams.
Analyze large datasets to identify suspicious activities, fraud patterns, and compliance risks.
Develop custom search criteria, filters, and reporting capabilities within DART.
Collaborate with Compliance, AML Operations, Fraud Operations, and Technology teams to understand investigation requirements.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of query and system issues.
Support Actimize upgrades, enhancements, and production releases.
Optimize query performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
Document DART configurations, investigative procedures, and technical specifications.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Data Architecture & Pipeline Engineering: Architect, design, and deploy robust, high-throughput batch and real-time streaming data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to process complex financial transactions.

Data Governance & Security: Enforce enterprise data security, privacy, and encryption policies (at rest and in transit) to comply with banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, BCBS 239, PCI-DSS).

Platform Modernization: Lead legacy-to-cloud data migration initiatives (e.g., legacy databases/mainframes to AWS, Azure, or Snowflake/Databricks).

Data Quality & Modeling:



Design scalable dimensional data models, data vaults, and schemas; implement automated data validation, quality monitoring, and reconciliation frameworks.

Performance Optimization: Tune complex SQL queries, database indexes, and distributed computing jobs for speed, memory management, and cost-efficiency.

Technical Mentorship: Partner with enterprise architects, data scientists, and compliance teams, while mentoring mid-level data engineers in engineering best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or enterprise data architecture within retail, commercial, or investment banking settings.

Core Technologies: Expert proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java, alongside advanced mastery of ANSI SQL.

Big Data & Streaming: Hands-on expertise with distributed processing frameworks (Apache Spark, PySpark, Hadoop) and real-time streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis).

Cloud & Data Warehousing: Deep technical expertise in cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Databricks) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Orchestration & DevOps: Strong experience with workflow schedulers (Apache Airflow)



and CI/CD data pipelines using Terraform, Docker, and Git.
