Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer – Python with strong experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing robust APIs, microservices, real-time systems, and production-grade backend services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
n
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
n
- Implement real-time communication systems using WebSockets.
n
- Design reliable and high-performance backend architectures.
n
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching systems.
n
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize production systems.
n
- Implement monitoring and performance-tuning strategies.
n
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
n
- Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams for end-to-end product delivery.

- Contribute to system design and distributed systems initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of software engineering/backend development experience.
n
- Strong proficiency in Python.
n
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
n
- Strong understanding of WebSockets and real-time backend integrations.
n
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms.
n
- Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
n
- Experience building scalable and highly available backend applications.
n
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and production-support skills.
n
- Good understanding of software development, testing, and engineering best practices.
