Purpose of the Role

The role is responsible for developing plant models of EV powertrain system & aggregates, and simulation for performance analysis and efficiency optimization.

Job Responsibility

1. Systems Engineering & Plant Modeling:

Execute System/Sub-system/Component level Plant Modeling (Mathematical) analysis for design and development of powertrain aggregates.

Develops simulation models of Mechanical/Electrical/Fluid/Thermal systems/ sub-systems/ components.

Analyzes & optimizes designs through plant (mathematical) model and control development

Partners with internal teams, understands the design intent, develops and validates models to substantiate the designs of various systems, sub-systems and components

Provides technical information and engineering recommendations to projects / processes.

Executes moderately complex engineering projects.

Executes key tasks associated with project independently and by collaborating with cross-functional disciplines.

Candidate will be responsible for Internal & External Communications, and management of tools

2. Software Management and Ecosystem Development:

Support Virtual Validation process definition

Software issue tracking and license management

Support Virtual Validation CAPEX identification and coordination

Support SiL & MiL validation and establishment

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education : Masters/Bachelor in Engineering-Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile
- Relevant Experience : 3 – 5 Years in Plant Modelling and Systems Engineering
- Exposure to Electrical vehicle technology and its development.




- Excellent knowledge of Vehicle Powertrain and automobile sub-systems.
- Defining and implementing System Design process in line with System Engineering Approach.

Skills & Competencies

- Logical and analytical skills in Vehicle and Powertrain development, Plant Modelling, Systems Engineering, Matlab/ Simulink, Dymola / GT-Suite / Amesim etc., Experience in developing simulation models of Mechanical /Electrical /Fluid/Thermal systems/ sub-systems/ components.
- Knowledge and experience in HIL & SIL.
