Special Situations | IBC / NCLT Project Evaluation

Location: Mhow – Head Office, PATH India Ltd.

Reporting To: Director / Head of Finance

Experience: 5–7 Years | Employment: Full-Time

ROLE PURPOSE

Lead the financial evaluation, valuation and investment analysis of stressed/distressed infrastructure and allied assets under IBC / NCLT, supporting PATH India’s acquisition, bidding and investment decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Evaluate CIRP / IBC opportunities for commercial, financial and project viability.

- Develop robust financial models, DCF, IRR, NPV, sensitivity and scenario analysis for stressed assets.

- Review Information Memorandums, audited financials, debt structures, cash flows and resolution plans.

- Assess project fundamentals including BOT/HAM/EPC/Toll concessions, revenues, O&M; costs, liabilities and funding requirements.

- Prepare valuation reports, investment notes, bid analysis and Go/No-Go recommendations for senior management.

- Coordinate with Resolution Professionals (RPs), CoC members, lenders and external legal/financial/technical advisors.

- Work closely with Finance, Legal, Technical and Operations teams for integrated project assessment.

- Track IBC/NCLT developments, resolution timelines and key transaction milestones.

- Support financial monitoring and integration of successfully acquired/resolved assets.

SALIENT CREDENTIALS





- MBA – Finance / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.

- 5–7 years of experience in Financial Modelling, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, M&A;, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory or Special Situations.

- Strong exposure to Infrastructure / Roads / Power / Ports / Logistics / EPC / Toll / Concessions preferred.

- Prior experience in IBC, NCLT, CIRP, stressed/distressed assets or restructuring is highly desirable.

- Advanced MS Excel & Financial Modelling – Mandatory.

- Strong command of DCF, valuation, IRR, NPV, sensitivity & scenario analysis.

- Excellent analytical, commercial and investment judgement with high attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently under tight transaction/bid timelines and manage multiple opportunities.

A finance skilled who combines strong financial modelling + infrastructure/project finance understanding + transaction/investment mindset, with the ability to convert complex financial and project information into clear management investment decisions.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

Based at Mhow Head Office with travel to project locations, NCLT benches, lenders, advisors and transaction meetings across India as required.
