Job Summary: As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems. You will play a key role in defining architecture, improving system efficiency, and ensuring seamless integrations. We are looking for someone with a strong technical background, hands-on backend experience, and a passion for solving complex problems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and drive the continuous improvement of best practices, system reliability, and code quality.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Backend Development: Implement and maintain high-quality backend components, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

- Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following top-tier production and quality standards.
n
- Architecture Contribution: Provide strategic input on architectural decisions, collaborating with the team to design sustainable and efficient solutions.
n
- Error Monitoring & Resolution: Continuously monitor system performance, proactively identify potential errors, and implement timely corrections to maintain stability.
n
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain clear, high-quality technical documentation to support development, maintenance, and cross-team collaboration.
n
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Support junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, and cooperate with other departments to align tech with business needs.

Education & Experience:

n

n




- 5+ years of relevant back-end work experience.
n
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
n
- AI Experience Required: Must have hands-on experience developing prompts.
n
- Low-Code/Rapid Dev Expertise: 3+ years of enterprise-level experience specializing in the architecture of tools utilizing low-code or internal app development platforms (e.g., Superblocks, Retool, Appsmith, Palantir Foundry, Lovable, or other AI rapid development tools).
n
- Strong proficiency in Java / Spring.
n
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or similar).
n
- Experience with CI/CD tools, repositories, and build processes.
n
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and operational best practices.
n
- Robust design and problem-solving skills, with a focus on engineering excellence.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Performance Goals (First 3-6 Months):

- Drive Code Quality: Reduce code defects by 30% by championing automated testing, best practices, and thorough review processes.
n
- 100% Code Review Coverage: Implement workflows to ensure all code changes undergo peer review.
n
- Mentorship: Successfully onboard and mentor at least one new backend developer, utilizing and refining our training materials.
n
- Architectural Impact: Propose and provide architectural input on at least three key backend features to improve scalability and maintainability.
n
- Process Improvement: Improve estimation accuracy vs. time spent by 20% through retrospective analyses and refined estimation techniques.
