Position: SAP PP with Project Management / SDM
Experience: 10+ Years
Duration – 6 months
Shift – EST (1 hour morning support will be required post shift)
Rate – Upto 1800 INR per hour

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP skilled with strong Project Management / Service Delivery Management (SDM) experience to manage SAP production planning solutions while driving project delivery, stakeholder management, and service operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of SAP PP, preferably with SAP S/4HANA, combined with experience managing SAP projects, teams, deliverables, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage SAP PP projects and support engagements from planning through delivery.
- Provide functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), including production orders, MRP, BOM, work centers, routings, capacity planning, and shop-floor processes.
- Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and clients for project/service-related matters.
- Manage SAP support and enhancement activities, ensuring SLA adherence and timely resolution of critical issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams including MM, QM, SD, WM/EWM, FI/CO, and technical teams.
- Lead offshore/onsite teams and effectively allocate resources based on project priorities.
- Conduct regular status reviews and provide project/service dashboards and management reports.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies and drive appropriate mitigation plans.
- Manage escalations and ensure effective communication with business and leadership teams.




- Support project planning, estimation, resource planning, and budgeting activities.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and organizational processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across SAP support and project delivery.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Mentor and guide SAP PP consultants and team members.

Required Skills

- Strong functional expertise in SAP PP.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing processes.
- Experience in MRP, Production Orders, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Capacity Planning, and Production Execution.
- Strong experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and/or support projects.
- Proven experience in Project Management / Service Delivery Management.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
- Experience managing distributed/offshore teams.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, SLA management, issue management, and escalation handling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within agreed timelines.

Preferred Skills

- SAP S/4HANA certification in PP or related manufacturing areas.
- Experience with SAP QM, MM, WM/EWM, or integration with other SAP modules.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori, MRP Live, and S/4HANA manufacturing innovations.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- ITIL or project management certification such as PMP/PRINCE2 is an advantage.
