1) Job Purpose:
To lead regional land acquisition, land aggregation, stakeholder management, and government liaison activities for Wind, Solar, and Hybrid renewable energy projects while ensuring timely land availability, regulatory compliance, and seamless project execution across the assigned region.
2) Job Context & Major Challenges:
Operating in a high-growth renewable energy environment, the role is responsible for managing large-scale land acquisition activities involving multiple villages, landowners, local authorities, consultants, and government stakeholders across remote project locations.
Key challenges include securing contiguous land parcels under aggressive timelines, managing local stakeholder sensitivities, resolving ROW and land disputes, handling government approvals, mitigating project risks arising from land issues, and ensuring smooth coordination between field operations and project execution teams.
The role requires a mature regional leader with strong Rajasthan market exposure, deep understanding of land acquisition processes, strong government liaison capability, and proven experience in independently driving large-scale renewable energy land acquisition activities.

Regional Land Acquisition Leadership
Lead end-to-end land acquisition and aggregation activities for Wind, Solar, and Hybrid projects across the assigned region
Stakeholder & Community Management
Build and maintain relationships with landowners, local communities, village representatives, and influencers
Government Liaison & Regulatory Coordination
Coordinate with district administration, revenue authorities, RI/Patwari/Tehsildar offices, and government agencies for approvals and clearances
Land Due Diligence & Documentation
Oversee title verification,
registration, mutation, agreement execution, and statutory documentation processes
ROW & Dispute Resolution
Resolve land disputes, ROW issues, compensation matters, and local operational challenges impacting projects
Project Coordination
Coordinate with engineering, legal, survey, project execution, and commercial teams for timely land handover
Vendor & Consultant Management
Manage local consultants, survey agencies, aggregators, and liaison partners for smooth execution
Risk Identification & Escalation Management
Identify land-related risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies to avoid project delays
MIS & Reporting
Prepare regional progress reports, trackers, dashboards, and management updates
Team Leadership & Governance
Lead regional land teams, drive operational discipline, and ensure process compliance across sites
4) Job Purpose of Direct Reports:
Direct reports support field-level land acquisition activities, liaison coordination, documentation management, surveys, and stakeholder engagement across project locations.

Qualifications:
- Full-time Graduation Mandatory
- MBA / PGDM or relevant specialization preferred
- 18–25 years of relevant experience in Land Acquisition within Renewable Energy / Infrastructure / EPC sectors
- Must have strong experience in handling large-scale Wind, Solar, and Hybrid project land acquisition activities
- Strong exposure to government liaison, land aggregation, ROW management, and stakeholder engagement
- Proven experience in independently leading regional land acquisition operations and managing field teams
- Strong understanding of land documentation, title verification, registration, mutation, and statutory processes
- Robust Rajasthan market exposure and local administration handling experience preferred
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage high-pressure field operations across remote project locations
