Role: SAP S/4HANA Data Privacy & PII Protection Consultant

Experience: 10+ years overall SAP experience with 5+ years of relevant SAP Data Privacy / PII Protection experience

Location: Remote (India)

SAP S/4HANA on RISE expertise; SAP UI Data Protection Masking and Field Masking; SAP ILM and data privacy (Information Retrieval Framework); PII discovery and classification; HANA anonymization and pseudonymization; TDMS and test data provisioning; Natuvion, SNP CrystalBridge, Libelle, and Melasoft tools; Azure, AWS, and GCP; DPDP Act compliance knowledge.

Objective:

Implement a solution to support DPDP compliance by enabling identification and protection of PII data within HCCB's SAP S/4HANA environment running on RISE with SAP.

Requirements:

- Ability to identify and discover PII data within SAP systems.
- Support PII data masking and encryption.
- Support anonymization and/or pseudonymization of personal data, based on the selected compliance approach.
- Protect sensitive data in reporting, data extracts, and non-production environments.




- Ensure compatibility with SAP S/4HANA on RISE and hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
- Operate within RISE workplace constraints, including limited database access.
- Evaluate SAP native capabilities alongside third-party solutions such as Natuvion, SNP CrystalBridge, Libelle, and Melasoft.
- Key Considerations
- Define the target compliance approach before selecting tooling:
- Database-level anonymization/pseudonymization, or
- Data masking during extraction, reporting, and non-production usage.
- Validate data discovery and PII identification requirements with SAP SMEs and the current assessment partner before finalizing the solution strategy.
