What would you do?
- You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
- - Ability to analyze complex differences, identify root causes, assess financial risk, and recommend practical corrective actions.
- - Knowledge of internal controls, approval requirements, segregation of duties, audit evidence, record retention, and financial reporting compliance.
- - High attention to detail, accuracy, ownership, and the ability to maintain complete and audit-ready documentation. What are we looking for?
- Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in Record-to-Report, general ledger, reconciliation, or month-end closing experience.
- Experience in a multinational, shared-services, global business services, or BPO environment is preferred.
- Willingness to support global stakeholders and rotational shifts where required by the engagement.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, balance sheet accounts, journal entries, general ledger, sub-ledgers, trial balance, and period-end close. Roles and Responsibilities:
- - Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end balance sheet account reconciliations in line with the close calendar.
- - Reconcile general ledger balances to sub-ledgers, bank statements, schedules, confirmations, and other supporting documentation.
- - Investigate variances and reconciling items, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective journal entries or other resolution actions.
- - Maintain ageing analysis for open items, assign clear ownership and target dates, and escalate overdue or high-risk balances.
- - Ensure reconciliations contain complete evidence, clear commentary, preparer and reviewer sign-off, and an adequate audit trail.
- - Monitor adherence to accounting policies, materiality thresholds, internal controls, segregation of duties, and reconciliation standards.
- - Support internal and external audits by providing reconciliation files, explanations, evidence, and timely responses to queries.
- - Track completion status, exceptions, aged items, and key risks; report progress to finance leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- - Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement to reduce manual effort, recurring exceptions, and close-cycle delays.
