Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role based in the Greater Delhi Area.

The Quality Assurance Automation

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and backend applications, working closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and executing test plans and test cases, performing regression and functional testing, analyzing defects, and collaborating on root-cause investigations and quality improvements. The role involves integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitoring test results, and optimizing test coverage and performance.

The engineer will also contribute to QA standards, documentation,



and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

- Strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, including understanding of QA methodologies, defect life cycle, and test planning.
- Experience creating and executing structured Test Cases and performing Manual Testing for functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
- Hands-on expertise in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git) to integrate automated tests into build and deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
- Experience testing APIs and services using tools such as Postman, REST-assured, or similar frameworks.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reproducible, clear defect reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a QA Automation Engineer or similar role within a software development environment is highly beneficial.
