Role Description This full-time, in office Prepress Operator role is based in Mumbai and involves preparing artwork and print files for production.

The Prepress

Operator will review and adjust digital files, ensure correct layout, color settings, and resolution, and prepare files for CTP and plate making. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with designers and print production staff, performing pre-flight checks, managing file conversions, and maintaining prepress equipment and software. The role also requires monitoring quality standards, identifying potential print issues before production,



and supporting smooth workflow throughout the printing process.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Print Production processes and workflow, including coordination with press and finishing teams.
- Hands-on experience in Pre-press operations, including file preparation, imposition, and pre-flight checks.
- Practical understanding of Printing techniques and requirements for textile or commercial printing environments.
- Experience with CTP (Computer-to-Plate) systems and Plate Making, including calibration and basic maintenance.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design and layout software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or similar).
- Attention to detail, strong quality control mindset, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in prepress workflows.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with designers, production staff, and supervisors.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in printing technology, graphics, or a related field; prior experience in a printing or textiles environment is an advantage.
