nBPM Microsystems is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our team remotely from India. This role blends deep technical PCB design expertise with vendor coordination and project management to deliver high-quality socket and board solutions for our customers.

Job Responsibilities n1. Research Compatibility: Investigate existing boards and sockets to match new device requests with appropriate sockets.

n2. Vendor Liaison: Communicate with socket vendors to identify suitable sockets and receptacles for new package types.

n3. PCB Design: Create high-quality PCB designs and layouts, including high-speed signal routing, series and parallel termination, trace length matching, and controlled-impedance traces. Collaborate with device support engineers to develop socket modules for devices containing non-volatile memory

n4. Project Management: Manage priorities efficiently to ensure on-time delivery for customers.

n5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, departments, and suppliers to troubleshoot socket-related issues.

n6. Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes to expand business capabilities, reduce lead times,



and maintain high-quality standards, thereby exceeding customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience nExperience: Minimum of 5 years in PCB Design Layout.

nTechnical Proficiency:

n

- Creation, verification, and validation of symbols representing the physical characteristics of electrical and mechanical components for PCB assembly.
n
- Expertise in KiCad is essential.
n
- Familiarity with Mentor PADS is advantageous.
n
- Familiarity with Mentor Xpedition, Cadence Allegro, or Altium is advantageous.
n
- Good understanding of relevant IPC standards, PCB stack-up design, signal integrity, and manufacturing requirements.
n

nProject Management: Capable of managing projects and adhering to a set schedule.

nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

nOrganizational Skills: Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
