What would you do?

- We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Associate Manager to lead Collections operations within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) function.
- This role is responsible for driving collection performance, reducing overdue receivables, improving cash flow, managing customer relationships, and leading a high-performing team.
- The Associate Manager will ensure compliance with company policies, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize working capital performance What are we looking for?
- - Experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Order-to-Cash operations.
- - People management experience in a shared service, global operations, or BPO environment.
- - Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or SAP S, 4HANA
- - Strong knowledge of Collections, Credit Management, Cash Application, Billing, and Dispute Resolution processes. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collections Operations Management




- - Lead and manage end-to-end collections activities to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables and achievement of cash flow targets.
- - Oversee daily operations of the collections team, ensuring adherence to established policies, controls, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- - Monitor aging reports, overdue balances, collection effectiveness, and escalation management.
- - Drive reduction of overdue debt, bad debt exposure, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Team Leadership & Performance Management
- - Manage, coach, and develop Collections Analysts and Team Leads to achieve operational and performance objectives.
- - Assign workloads, monitor productivity, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- - Conduct performance reviews, capability development, and succession planning activities.
- - Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management
- - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely collections and dispute resolution.
- - Lead discussions with customers regarding overdue balances, payment plans, deductions, disputes, and collection escalations.
- - Partner closely with Sales, Credit, Billing, Customer Service, Master Data, and Cash Application teams to resolve collection issues and improve customer experience.
- - Serve as the primary escalation point for complex collection matters.
- Risk & Compliance Management
- - Identify collection risks and collaborate with Credit teams to mitigate exposure.
- - Monitor customer payment behavior and recommend appropriate credit actions.
- - Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies.
- - Review and approve account reconciliations, write-offs, adjustments, and collection-related documentation.
