We're Hiring | Cyber Security Function Lead

Department: IT Operations – Cyber Security

Location: Max-Q (Shamshabad near Airport)

Reports To: Head of IT Operations

n

Experience: 5–8+ years

n

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Function Lead to drive the organization's cybersecurity strategy, security operations, risk management, compliance, incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Cyber Security Strategy and Governance

n

n
- Define and implement the cybersecurity roadmap aligned with business objectives.
n
- Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
n
- Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
n
- Lead security governance, audits, and compliance activities.
n

n

Security Operations and Incident Response

n

n
- Oversee SOC operations, security monitoring, and alert management.
n
- Manage SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, syslog, and security monitoring tools.
n
- Lead incident response, containment, recovery, and root cause analysis.
n
- Maintain incident response plans and conduct periodic security drills.
n

n

Risk, Compliance and Vulnerability Management

n

n
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
n
- Coordinate internal and external security audits.
n
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual security requirements.
n
- Track vulnerabilities, emerging threats, and corrective actions.
n

n

Identity, Access and Data Security

n

n
- Govern Identity and Access Management processes.
n
- Ensure least-privilege access, MFA, and privileged access controls.
n
- Oversee data protection, encryption, and DLP controls.
n




- Review and approve administrative access based on business requirements.
n

n

Infrastructure, Network and Cloud Security

n

n
- Ensure secure design and implementation of network, cloud, and hybrid environments.
n
- Review firewall policies, VPN configurations, and network segmentation.
n
- Work closely with Infrastructure and Networking teams to address security gaps.
n

n

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management

n

n
- Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity team members.
n
- Establish transparent ownership, tracking, and reporting mechanisms.
n
- Collaborate with IT Administration, Networking, Infrastructure, and other stakeholders.
n
- Provide regular updates on security posture, risks, incidents, and improvements.
n

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, Azure Security, or AWS Security are preferred.
