Role Description The Insurance Advisor role at LIC is a part-time position based in Lucknow, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some tasks to be completed from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding client needs, explaining suitable insurance products, and helping clients select coverage that aligns with their financial goals and protection requirements.

The Insurance

Advisor will generate leads, schedule and attend client meetings, prepare proposals, and assist with policy issuance and servicing.



The role also involves maintaining ongoing customer relationships, providing after-sales support, and staying informed about LIC products, regulatory guidelines, and market developments.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and interest in Insurance and Finance to understand products, perks, and long-term planning.
- Consulting skills to assess client needs, provide guidance, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and support clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex information in a simple manner.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales and service targets in a part-time, hybrid setup.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using digital tools for client communication and policy management.
- Prior experience in sales, financial services, or insurance is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: completion of secondary education; higher education in commerce, finance, or business is an advantage.
