About The Job:

- This is a technical support role within the Noida, India branch of a London Software Consultancy Company.

- The role involves advanced technical support to internal staff, the infrastructure required to run the business and supporting and enhancing the installation and configuration of the ISL software application which could be on-prem or in Azure.

- The Applicant is expected to possess the drive and willingness to stay abreast of best IT practices and help with their adoption into ISL’s working practices which may include mentoring staff.

Essential Job Functions:

Windows Domain and Active Directory Administration

- Firewall Administration, particularly with FortiGates.

- Experience with Virtual Firewall management, VPNs, and High Availability is desirable.

- Switch Management, with FortiSwitch knowledge being a bonus.

- Azure-based infrastructure administration, particularly:

- Virtual Machines

- Azure Front Door

- Redis Cache

- App Services

- SQL Managed Instances

- Virtual Networks

- Network Security Groups

- Azure Active Directory

- Disaster Recovery

- Log Analytics Workspace

- Monitoring and Alerting

- Automation

- Cost Management

- Administer SQL Server where required and ensure appropriate backups are in place and tested as per the backup retention policy.

- Perform infrastructure scripting and automation where appropriate,



utilizing GIT source control, such as for file server housekeeping.

- Monitor the health of virtual servers, including resource allocation and data infrastructure.

- Provide advanced desktop support for internal staff.

- Configure and monitor Windows services, ensuring best practices and consistency.

- Perform installations and upgrades of the ISL application components and champion improvements and best practices.

- Support Azure Infrastructure and Software Deployments.

- Support Colocation Infrastructure.

- Perform application, hardware, and security monitoring and auditing.

- Manage general IT assets and endpoints.

- Perform software patching.

- Support SecOps activities.

- Perform VPN administration and configuration.

- Administer SFTP servers.

- Perform network and application troubleshooting.

Qualifications

- Any IT-related degree.

- Proven experience in writing and debugging PowerShell or other scripting languages.

- Valuable working knowledge of computer hardware and networking fundamentals.

- Ability to troubleshoot common networking issues utilizing tools such as Wireshark.

- Good knowledge of Cyber and Information Security Principles and Practices.





- Experience with SQL Server configuration.
