These are the operating responsibilities that will sit with you:

- Team leadership: leading, as a energetic team leader, the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the business.
- Statutory compliance: ensuring full compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and all other statutory requirements.
- MIS & reporting: preparing MIS, budgets, financial statements and management reports.
- Audit coordination: coordinating with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
- Financial controls: implementing financial controls and continuously improving accounting processes.

What the job involves

- Overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger accuracy and month-end close across the group's entities.
- Filing GST and TDS returns and other statutory filings within deadlines, and staying current with regulatory changes.
- Preparing and presenting MIS reports, budgets, cash flow statements and variance analysis to management.
- Liaising with statutory, internal and tax auditors,



and closing audit queries and observations on time.
- Reviewing and strengthening internal financial controls, approval workflows and accounting SOPs.
- Managing SAP/ERP-based accounting workflows and driving accuracy and automation in MS Excel-based reporting.
- Mentoring and supervising accounts executives, reviewing their work and building team capability.

What we are looking for

- Accounting & compliance expertise: strong working knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS and financial reporting.
- Systems proficiency: hands-on proficiency in SAP/ERP and MS Excel.
- Leadership: proven ability to lead and mentor a team, and hold it accountable for accuracy and deadlines.
- Communication: clear, confident communication with management, auditors and cross-functional teams.
- Analytical discipline: good analytical judgement, comfortable flagging risks and improving processes.

QUALIFICATION B.Com / CA / CA Inter / CMA, with relevant experience in Finance & Accounts as specified above.
