We are looking for a Dean who combines academic credibility, research excellence, institutional leadership and global ambition — someone capable of building an outstanding faculty, strengthening research, deepening international partnerships and creating a distinctive intellectual identity for the School.

The Opportunity

The Dean will provide overall academic and strategic leadership to the Woxsen School of Business, working closely with University leadership, faculty, students, industry and international academic partners.

Candidate Profile

n

The ideal candidate will be a distinguished academic and proven academic leader with:

n

n
- A PhD or equivalent terminal degree from a recognised institution.
n
- A strong record of high-quality international research and publications.
n
- A demonstrated record of academic leadership as Dean, Associate Dean, Department/Area Chair, Director, Head or equivalent.
n
- Experience building faculty, programmes, research centres or academic institutions.
n
- Strong understanding of international business-school education and global academic trends.
n
- Experience with international accreditation, rankings and institutional development is highly desirable.
n
- Demonstrated ability to attract high-quality faculty and build productive academic teams.
n
- Strong international academic network and evidence of meaningful global engagement.
n
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder-management capabilities.
n
- The intellectual ambition and entrepreneurial mindset required to build rather than simply maintain an institution.

Candidates with significant experience in leading internationally oriented business schools, particularly those who have worked across India and global academic systems, are especially encouraged to apply.
