Role & responsibilities

- Lead overall Quality for the LED manufacturing plant covering IQC, IPQC and OQC.
n
- Drive reduction in rejection, PPM, rework, scrap and COPQ.
n
- Implement and monitor PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCA, CAPA and 8D.
n
- Drive Poka-Yoke, KAIZEN, Six Sigma/DMAIC and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Manage customer complaints, supplier quality and quality audits.
n
- Support NPD/NPI, product validation and process quality activities.
n
- Monitor quality KPIs and ensure corrective actions and process improvements.
n
- Lead, train and develop the Quality team.
n
- Ensure QMS/ISO compliance and effective quality documentation.
n

Preferred candidate profile

n

n
- B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics,



Mechanical or Production Engineering.
n
- 12+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in LED, lighting, electronics, electrical or automotive manufacturing.
n
- Robust hands-on experience in Plant/Process/Product Quality.
n
- Working knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, 8D, CAPA, RCA and Poka-Yoke.
n
- Exposure to Six Sigma, DMAIC, KAIZEN and Lean Manufacturing.
n
- Experience in Supplier Quality, Customer Quality and QMS/ISO.
n
- Strong shop-floor and team-management experience.
n
- Location: Vapi, Gujarat.
