Role Description This is a full-time, in office Fleet Manager role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Fleet

Manager will oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle deployment, routing, and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities include monitoring fleet performance, managing maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements, and optimizing utilization of trucks and drivers. The role involves coordinating with operations teams, vendors,



and delivery partners to resolve issues, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement in logistics processes.

The Fleet

Manager will also analyze operational data, prepare reports, and implement best practices to enhance reliability, cost-efficiency, and service quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Fleet Management and Fleet Operations, including scheduling, routing, and utilization of vehicles.
- Candidates should possess solid Operations Management and Analytical Skills to track performance metrics, identify trends, and drive process improvements.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and other relevant transport and safety compliance standards.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, ideally in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
- Ability to lead and coordinate on-ground teams, vendors, and drivers, with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with fleet management software, GPS tracking tools, and basic MS Excel or similar data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area with a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
