About Finova Work Platform

Finova, our business support and analytics centre, supports multiple organisations like Neo, Ryze and other group entities. The finance function is being built from the ground up with a clear mandate: eliminate manual dependency, achieve real-time financial visibility, and create a systems-driven backbone for business decisions.

We are hiring a Finance Automation Specialist to own this transformation end-to-end — implementing and extending Zoho Books/ERP systems, building integrations with vendor and operational tools, and automating finance workflows across all platforms.

About the role

This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and independent program delivery.



You will understand finance requirements directly from stakeholders, translate them into automation or ERP solutions, and either build them yourself using Zoho-native tools or brief a coding, data analytics, or DevOps team for anything beyond your direct build capability. You will drive the full process end-to-end — from requirement to live, working automation — with minimal supervision.

You report to the Finance Lead.

This is an independent owner of finance automation and ERP integration — someone who understands both the finance process and the technical path to automate it, and can drive delivery without being told each step.

Responsibilities

1. Requirement Understanding & ERP Ownership

- Independently understand, identify, and document automation and digitisation requirements directly from Finance Leadership and functional stakeholders (AP, AR, GL, Recons, Fixed Assets, Compliance, FP&A;).
- Own the Zoho Books/ERP implementation and administration across all entities — configuration, multi-currency, user access, and ongoing system health.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all digital and automation requirements within the finance function.

2. Integration & Automation Delivery

- Design and build integrations between Zoho Books/ERP and vendor systems — billing gateways, HRMS, procurement tools, banking feeds, and platform-specific technology partner data sources.
- Build automations directly using Zoho Deluge, Zoho Flow, and Blueprint for anything achievable without custom development.
- For requirements beyond Zoho-native capability, convert finance requirements into transparent technical specifications and work with the coding, data analytics, or DevOps team to deliver — while retaining ownership of the outcome.
- Automate repetitive accounting tasks — reconciliations, journal postings, MIS generation, variance analysis — across all platforms.

3. End-to-End Project Delivery

- Drive each automation or integration project independently from requirement gathering through to live deployment, without needing close supervision.
- Maintain a clear project plan for all assigned use cases — sequencing, dependencies, and timelines — and proactively flag risks or blockers to the Finance Lead.
- Deliver all use cases directly assigned, while proactively identifying additional automation opportunities as platforms evolve.

4. Analytics & Reporting Automation





- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting layers (Zoho Analytics or equivalent) for consolidated financials, FP&A; modelling, and platform-specific KPIs (e.g., collection efficiency dashboards for Finova).
- Ensure reporting automation reduces manual MIS preparation and moves the organisation toward real-time or near-real-time visibility.

5. Governance & Enablement

- Support implementation of SOPs, accounting manuals, and process documentation for all automated workflows.
- Train finance team members on new systems and automated processes so operations are not dependent on a single person.
- Maintain integration and automation documentation as a living reference for the team.

Skills

Required

- Zoho Books / Zoho One – Setup, administration, multi-entity and multi-currency environments, AP/AR management, and reconciliation
- Zoho Deluge Scripting – Building custom functions and workflow logic beyond standard platform automations
- Zoho Flow / Blueprint – Designing no-code/low-code automations that connect Zoho modules with external systems
- REST APIs & Webhooks – Reading and implementing API documentation, OAuth authentication, JSON payload handling, and Postman testing
- ERP Requirement Gathering – Translating finance and business needs into actionable ERP configurations or technical briefs
- Finance Process Depth – Hands-on experience across AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end close
- Project & Program Delivery – Proven ability to own timelines, manage stakeholders, and drive end-to-end delivery independently

Preferred

- Zoho Analytics / BI Tools – Building dashboards, supporting FP&A; modelling, and tracking KPIs
- Python / SQL – Data transformation and automation scripting beyond Deluge
- ERP Breadth – Exposure to platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Xero, or QuickBooks, particularly relevant to our US-based fintech accounting stack

Experience & Qualifications

Education

- B.Tech (IT/CS/ECE) — preferred; brings the systems and API thinking this role needs.
- MBA (Finance) or equivalent — a strong plus, especially combined with a technical degree.
- CA background with genuine hands-on systems/automation exposure — welcomed

Experience

- Minimum 5 years in finance automation, ERP implementation, or digitisation-focused roles.
- Hands-on Zoho Books/Zoho One experience strongly preferred; exposure to NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Xero, or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience independently driving ERP or automation projects end-to-end — not just supporting one.
- Experience automating routine finance tasks such as MIS generation and variance analysis.
- Experience in a startup or a PE-backed environment is an advantage.
