We’re Hiring: Executive Assistant – Luxury Events & Business Development
Salary: ₹62,000 – ₹80,000 per month
Exceptional candidates: up to approximately ₹1,00,000/month
We are looking for an exceptionally sharp, organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support a senior professional in the luxury events, weddings and destination events industry.
This is not a basic VA or administrative role.
We need someone who can take an idea, understand what needs to happen, research it, organise it, follow it through and come back with results.
Someone who is comfortable having 10 different things moving at the same time, and still knows exactly what is pending, what is urgent and what needs to happen next.
What you’ll be doing
Managing emails, WhatsApp conversations and day-to-day communication
Writing polished, natural and conversational emails for UK and international clients
Keeping track of conversations, commitments, deadlines and follow-ups
Managing calendars, meetings and schedules
Coordinating flights, hotels, travel and destination-event logistics
Following up with venues, suppliers, planners, clients and other stakeholders
Reviewing and organising quotes, information and event-related documents
Supporting wedding and event operations during busy periods
Making sure enquiries and opportunities don't go cold when the core team is busy delivering events
Conducting independent research for recent ideas, markets, venues, suppliers and opportunities
Supporting business development and new partnerships
Researching potential clients and collaborators and helping initiate outreach
Turning loosely defined ideas into organised, actionable projects
Managing several different priorities and projects simultaneously
Creating task lists, maintaining follow-ups and ensuring things actually get completed
Business Development A major part of this role is being able to take direction such as:
“We want to explore this market, venue, country or opportunity.”
…and independently work out:
Who should we speak to?
What research is required?
What opportunities exist?
Who are the relevant companies or people?
How should we approach them?
What are the next actions?
You should then be able to return with clear information, progress and results, rather than waiting for detailed step-by-step instructions.
Who we are looking for
Ideally, you have:
Strong previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Senior VA or Business Support professional
Experience in events, weddings, hospitality, luxury services, travel or a related industry
Excellent written English
Experience communicating professionally with UK or international clients
Excellent research skills
Strong business awareness and commercial thinking
Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers and senior professionals
Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
Strong judgement and problem-solving ability The ability to understand instructions quickly and work independently
Experience arranging international travel and accommodation
- Experience supporting business development or partnerships is highly desirable
Written communication is extremely important A large amount of communication will happen through email and WhatsApp.
We are specifically looking for someone whose writing feels natural, warm, professional and human.
We do not want generic or robotic AI-generated communication.
You should be able to understand the context, relationship and tone of a conversation and respond appropriately.
The kind of person we want
You are someone who thinks:
“Leave it with me. I’ll get it done.”
You don't wait to be chased.
You notice what is missing.
You follow up.
You research.
You anticipate what needs to happen next.
And if five things suddenly become urgent, you don't freeze, you organise them and get moving.
The person you support will remain closely involved in the business. Your job is not simply to “save their time”; your job is to help them move faster and achieve results.
Working Hours The role will primarily follow UK working hours - approximately 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM UK time.
Some flexibility may occasionally be required during peak event periods, including weekends.
The events business is seasonal, so responsibilities may vary between:
Off-season: research, communication, quotations, business development, travel planning and organisation.
Peak season: event coordination, vendor follow-ups, job sheets, enquiries, client communication and general operational support.
Compensation
₹62,000 – ₹80,000 per month For an outstanding candidate with the right level of experience, judgement and capability, we are willing to go higher, up to approximately ₹1,00,000 per month.
We care more about finding the right person than simply filling the vacancy.
