Role Description The Director of Artificial Intelligence is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions that power Ascent Health’s revenue cycle management platforms. This role oversees AI strategy and roadmap, collaborates with product, engineering, and operations teams to identify high‑impact use cases, and ensures AI initiatives align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include guiding data science and machine learning teams, reviewing models and architectures, setting standards for data quality and analytics,



and monitoring performance of AI systems in production.

The Director will evaluate current tools and frameworks, drive experimentation and model optimization, and create documentation and best practices that support scalable and secure AI operations. The position also involves mentoring team members, managing stakeholder expectations, and presenting insights and outcomes to senior leadership and clients.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, software engineering principles, and system design.
- Expertise in Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, with experience building, training, and deploying models at scale.
- Advanced skills in Data Science and Analytics, including statistical analysis, data modeling, and visualization for decision support.
- Experience leading AI or data science teams, with a track record of delivering production‑grade AI solutions in complex environments.
- Proficiency with modern ML and data platforms (e.g., Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, SQL/NoSQL, cloud services) and MLOps practices.
- Understanding of healthcare data, revenue cycle processes, and relevant compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, data privacy) is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
