ROLE OVERVIEW

This role partners directly with client stakeholders to deliver Power BI reporting, Databricks-based data solutions, and AI-assisted analytics. The selected candidate will onboard alongside the current team member on this account to ensure a smooth transition of knowledge and client relationships ahead of a planned departure in mid-October.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support MedTech business stakeholders
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines and transformations within Databricks
Apply AI/LLM prompting techniques to accelerate analysis, automate insight generation, and support GenAI-driven analytics use cases
Translate business questions from client stakeholders into clear, well-modeled BI solutions
Maintain data quality, documentation, and governance standards across all deliverables
Complete a structured knowledge-transfer and shadowing period with the outgoing team member
Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations directly to the client and VCreaTek account leadership .

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS




3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
Solid hands-on expertise with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard/report design
Working experience with Databricks (notebooks, Spark-based data processing, workflow orchestration)
Practical experience using AI/LLM prompting tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Databricks Genie, or similar) to support analytics work
Solid SQL skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, or broader life sciences settings
Familiarity with Azure Databricks specifically
Exposure to enterprise data governance frameworks and practices
Prior experience transitioning onto an active client engagement
