About The Client:

Essential Job Functions:

- Executing and monitoring production data and data exchange related processes, timely and conscientiously

- Executes defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) as per defined schedule viz. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly

- Monitoring day-to-day jobs running in production and ensure ETL process run successfully and responding to any production-related incidents or outages

- Building ETL workflows, jobs or scripts or custom scripting languages to automate the data integration process.

- Shifts focus between clients and/or processes throughout the day to meet production needs.

- Assists in outage resolution, validation after weekend patching and rollover activities

- Initiates troubleshooting and/or appropriate notification of issues timely.

- Investigating and diagnosing ETL job failures, data inconsistencies, or other technical problems to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.

- Monitoring ETL jobs and workflows proactively to identify potential issues or performance bottlenecks. Setting up alerts to notify stakeholders of any deviations or errors.

- Loading the transformed data into the target data warehouse, data marts, or other destination systems following the defined data models.

- Maintaining metadata documentation for ETL processes,



including data lineage, mappings, and transformations.

- Monitoring ETL jobs and system performance to identify and address any issues promptly. This involves troubleshooting and resolving problems that may arise during data integration.

- Working on the tickets raised by the downstream users and resolve the tickets within the SLA.

- Fixing of issues in production and deploying the changes in production with proper test documents and CR’s.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- 6-9 Years of Total Experience in Data Warehouse, Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Unix, Hadoop, Hive, Python, Spark

- Solid in writing & tuning the ETL Jobs, DB Programs and Queries, Python, Spark, Hive, Cloudera

- Sound in Data Management Fundamentals and Data Architect, MoClienting, Governance.

- Strong Domain Knowledge in Banking/Finance area like understanding of the various processes, products, and services within the banking industry, core functions, regulations, and operational aspects of banking institutions.

- Hands on knowledge in Various Schedulers like autosys, automic and UC4.

- Hands on knowledge in Hadoop and cloud ecosystem and ETL jobs migration

- Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift model
