Purpose of the Role

To perform rhodium plating and related finishing processes on jewelry, ensuring superior surface finish, consistent quality, minimal rework, and timely completion of production while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform rhodium plating on gold, diamond, and platinum jewelry as per production requirements.
- Carry out dipping, paint touch-up, masking, and colour fill-up (Meena/Mina) with precision.
- Prepare and maintain rhodium solutions, chemicals, and plating equipment as per SOPs.
- Inspect jewelry before and after plating to ensure a flawless finish.
- Ensure minimum 95% efficiency while achieving daily production targets.
- Minimize breakage, damage, and rework during the plating process.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of rhodium plating equipment.
- Follow all quality standards, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Daily production target achievement.




- Minimum 95% production efficiency.
- Zero or minimal jewelry breakage/damage.
- High first-pass quality with minimum rework.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Competencies

- Strong knowledge of the rhodium plating process.
- Experience in dipping, masking, paint touch-up, and Meena/Mina colour filling.
- Attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Positive manual dexterity and handling of delicate jewelry.
- Knowledge of plating chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work within production timelines.

- Qualification: Any Qualification.
- Experience: 4–9 years in Rhodium/Plating operations in the jewellery industry.
- Industry: Jewellery Manufacturing.
- Hands-on Experience: Gold, diamond, and platinum jewellery rhodium plating, masking, colour filling, and finishing processes.
