Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Packet Core Support Engineer with strong expertise in 4G/5G core network elements. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of customer issues, deep troubleshooting of packet core nodes, and close collaboration with R&D; and system teams to deliver timely and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end troubleshooting of Packet Core solutions in live customer networks.
Analyze and resolve complex issues related to 4G/5G call flows, signaling, and data sessions.
Work independently with R&D;, System Test (ST), and internal engineering teams to identify root causes and implement fixes.
Support and troubleshoot VoLTE, VoWiFi, IoT, and other advanced telecom services.
Engage directly with customers to drive issue resolution, provide technical explanations, and recommend solutions.
Participate in in office or remote customer support and travel as required by business needs.

Technical Skills & Experience
Robust end-to-end understanding of Packet Core architecture and solutions.




Deep knowledge of 4G LTE call flows and good understanding of 5G Core concepts.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based EPC / 5GC deployments.
Good understanding of cloud and virtualization technologies, including:
Red Hat Open Stack (RHOS)
Docker / Containers
Kubernetes
Deployment on Dell / HP hardware platforms
Proficient in Linux-based systems (command line, logs, services, performance analysis).
Robust troubleshooting skills using tools such as Wireshark and other protocol analyzers.

Willingness to work in shifts/on-call (if applicable) and travel as per business requirements.
