Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical, mechanical and instrument assembly as per drawings, BOM and work instructions.
Assemble industrial instruments, electronic modules, panels, enclosures and related components.
Perform panel wiring, cable harnessing, crimping, soldering and termination.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings and BOMs.
Carry out functional testing, continuity testing and electrical testing of assembled products.
Assist in calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation products.
Identify assembly defects, wiring errors and component-related issues and carry out rework/rectification.
Use basic test equipment such as multimeter,
power supply and other electrical/electronic testing instruments.
Ensure assembly activities comply with defined quality standards and work instructions.
Maintain assembly, testing and inspection records.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, R&D; and Testing teams for resolving product issues.
Follow ESD, 5S, safety and housekeeping practices.
Support current product assembly, prototype builds and process improvements.
Maintain minimum rejection/rework levels and achieve production targets.
