Role Description The City Manager – Operations is a full time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for overseeing daily operational activities across the city. This role includes managing local teams and partner networks, monitoring service performance, and ensuring that operational KPIs such as fleet utilization, on-time service, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

The City

Manager will coordinate driver and vendor onboarding, implement process improvements, and handle incident resolution and escalations. They will work closely with central leadership to execute city-level strategies, analyze operational data, and optimize routes, capacity, and resource allocation.



The position also involves regular field visits, stakeholder coordination with local authorities or partners, and adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong operations management capabilities, including team leadership, process optimization, and performance tracking.
- Experience with city-level or regional business management, preferably in mobility, transportation, logistics, or related sectors.
- Ability to interpret data, use dashboards or analytics tools, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with drivers, vendors, partners, and internal teams.
- Hands-on problem-solving approach, with the ability to manage incidents, handle escalations, and work under time-sensitive conditions.
- Comfort with technology platforms and mobile applications commonly used in ride-hailing, fleet management, or logistics operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience managing on-ground teams in New Delhi or similar metropolitan environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong ethical standards, commitment to safety and compliance, and the ability to work on-site and in the field as required.
