Senior Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Online

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with strong hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and bookkeeping.

n

Key Requirement:

n

n
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is mandatory
n
- Previous professional bookkeeping experience is mandatory
n
- Candidates without practical QBO experience will not be considered.
n

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records
n
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
n
- Prepare and post journal entries
n
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
n
- Assist with month-end closing
n
- Prepare financial reports and account schedules
n
- Review transactions and resolve discrepancies
n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books in QuickBooks Online
n
- Perform other accounting and bookkeeping duties as required
n

n





Required Skills & Experience:

n

n
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
n
- Professional bookkeeping/accounting experience
n
- Robust understanding of accounting principles
n
- Experience with bank reconciliations, AP, AR and general ledger
n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills
n

Preferred:

n

n
- Experience working with international clients/companies
n
- Experience in transportation/logistics or similar industries
n
- Experience with payroll, GST/HST or other tax-related bookkeeping tasks
n
