Azure Cloud Engineer – L2

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer – L2 to provide production support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administration of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. The candidate should have robust hands-on experience with Azure services and be comfortable handling incidents, service requests, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 production support for Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Manage Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, NSGs, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers and Azure networking.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, availability, and configuration issues.
- Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and escalations within defined SLAs.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical incidents.
- Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
- Work with L1 and L3 teams for incident escalation and resolution.
- Support Azure backup, disaster recovery, and availability requirements.
- Troubleshoot Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, access, authentication, and RBAC-related issues.




- Perform routine maintenance, patching, configuration changes, and operational activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in on-call/shift support when required.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Experience in L2 Cloud Support / Azure Operations.
- Azure VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Load Balancer.
- Azure networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and alert management.
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, RBAC and IAM.
- Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and SLA management.
- Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell is preferred.
- Exposure to Terraform / IaC is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Certifications

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- ITIL Foundation
