P4 – Data Quality / Data Test Automation Lead

Job Summary

We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients for a P4-level Data Quality / Data Test Automation leadership role.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Python, Snowflake, Databricks, Spark and Airflow, along with proven experience designing and scaling automated data testing frameworks and leading data quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of test strategies for complex data pipelines and business logic.
- Architect and evolve automated testing frameworks across batch and streaming data.
- Define and enforce best practices for testing, monitoring and CI/CD in data workflows.
- Drive strategic data quality initiatives from planning through execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and testable data solutions.
- Identify, debug and proactively prevent data quality issues.
- Mentor engineers and conduct code/test reviews.




- Support team development through coaching and technical guidance.
- Manage direct reports where required, including planning and performance support.
- Evaluate and introduce tools and frameworks to improve test coverage and automation.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience validating and testing large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Spark and/or Airflow.
- Strong experience in Data Quality Engineering, Data Testing or Data Engineering.
- Proven ability to build and scale automated data testing frameworks.
- Experience leading technical/data quality initiatives.
- Experience mentoring engineers and/or managing engineering team members.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Understanding of CI/CD and data workflow best practices.
