1. Prepare daily/weekly production plans based on customer requirements and available resources.
2. Ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and on time.
3. Monitor production performance against planned targets and take corrective actions.
4. Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
5. Optimize manpower, machines, materials, and production capacity.
6. Minimize process losses, downtime, rejection, and rework.
7. Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
8. Supervise operators and contract workers and ensure optimum utilization.
9. Conduct training and skill development of production personnel.
10. Ensure safe working practices and compliance with HSE requirements.
11. Implement safety initiatives and participate in risk assessments, mock drills, and incident investigations.
12. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
13. Ensure production is carried out as per specified quality parameters.
14. Coordinate with QC for product quality issues and corrective actions.
15. Reduce batch deviations, customer complaints, rejection, and reprocessing.
16. Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
17. Monitor equipment availability and minimize production downtime.
18. Support implementation of TPM and equipment improvement initiatives.
19. Monitor availability and consumption of raw materials and packaging materials.
20. Ensure proper batch-wise material usage and minimize material wastage.
21. Coordinate with Stores, Purchase,



and Planning teams for material availability.
22. Identify opportunities for productivity improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
23. Lead/participate in WCM, Kaizen, 5S, OEE, loss reduction, and Lean Manufacturing activities.
24. Implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring problems.
25. Maintain accurate production records and ERP entries.
26. Prepare daily production reports, KPI reports, downtime analysis, and loss analysis.
27. Track KPIs such as production output, OEE, productivity, rejection, downtime, and manufacturing cost.
