Job Summary
Trinity Eye Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant Phaco Surgeon to provide comprehensive cataract and anterior segment surgical care. The consultant will be responsible for performing high-volume phacoemulsification surgeries, managing OPD patients, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes, and contributing to the hospital’s quality and academic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Phacoemulsification cataract surgeries independently.
Evaluate and manage cataract and anterior segment patients in OPD.
Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
Diagnose and treat common ophthalmic conditions within the scope of practice.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and surgical records.
Ensure compliance with NABH protocols,
infection control, and patient safety standards.
Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, outreach camps, and academic activities.
Collaborate with optometrists, nursing staff, and OT teams for seamless patient care.
Qualifications
MS/DNB in Ophthalmology (Mandatory)
Fellowship/Training in Phaco & Anterior Segment Surgery preferred.
Valid State Medical Council Registration.
Experience
2–5+ years of experience as a Phaco Surgeon.
Proven experience in independent phaco surgeries with excellent surgical outcomes.
Experience in premium IOLs and complicated cataract cases is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
