About the Role
Connect System India is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Manager – Mumbai to drive business growth through architects, electrical consultants, MEP consultants, interior designers, contractors, dealers, and corporate projects.
The role will focus on developing new business opportunities, getting Connect System products specified and approved in projects, generating project enquiries, managing key accounts, and converting opportunities into orders.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute business development strategies for the Mumbai and surrounding market.
● Identify and build relationships with architects, MEP/electrical consultants, interior designers, contractors, project management consultants, dealers and distributors.
● Generate new project leads across corporate offices, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, airports and premium residential projects.
● Conduct regular meetings and product presentations with architects, consultants, contractors and decision-makers.
● Drive product specification,



approvals and inclusion in project BOQs/tenders.
● Track upcoming projects from design and specification stage through procurement and execution.
● Generate enquiries, prepare quotations in coordination with the internal team and follow up until order closure.
● Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation → specification → enquiry → quotation → negotiation → order → payment collection.
● Develop and manage dealers/channel partners in the assigned territory.
● Maintain accurate project and customer information in the CRM.
● Achieve monthly and annual sales, project development and new-account targets.
● Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and current product opportunities.
● Coordinate with internal teams including sales, projects, technical, production and dispatch to ensure smooth execution.
