About the Role
BULL Machines is urgently hiring experienced CNC & VMC Operators to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC and VMC machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings, ensuring high quality and consistent output on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor CNC and VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines for turning, milling, and drilling operations
Set up machines, load programs, and select appropriate tools as per job requirements
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometre, height gauge, etc.)
Adjust machine settings to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish
Conduct routine machine maintenance and identify tooling or mechanical issues
Ensure secure operation of machinery and adherence to workplace safety standards
Maintain production logs and report output to shift supervisor
Coordinate with the quality and maintenance teams to minimise downtime
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience operating CNC and/or VMC machines
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; specifications
Familiarity with machine setup, tool offsets, and program loading
Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and quality checks
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, or related trade preferred
Willingness to work in shifts, including overtime as required
