We are looking for a Commercial Finance Controller to join our Finance team.

What You'll Do

n

RESPONSIBILITIES

n

1. Commercial Governance, Controls & Spend Management

n

n
- Establish, enforce, and audit approval matrices, SOPs, and governance frameworks for all commercial spends, trade promotions, and marketing budgets.
n
- Oversee the end-to-end Gross-to-Net (G2N) structure, ensuring accurate accruals, timely trade claim settlements, discount reconciliations, and elimination of revenue leakages.
n
- Act as the finance process owner for commercial ERP modules, Sales Force Automation (SFA), and Trade Spend Management tools to ensure pricing and discount master data integrity.
n
- Procuremnet process and Logistics costs control : end to end process governance
n
- Expiry and damage policy governance
n

2. Commercial Business Partnering & RGM Strategy

n

n
- Partner closely with the Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing leads to drive Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives—including pricing strategy, price-pack architecture, and promotional discount depth.
n
- Evaluate financial business cases for New Product Developments (NPDs), line extensions, new channel entry (e.g., Airlines, Institutional, Quick-Commerce), and distributor margin structures.
n

3. Multi-Channel Profitability & Decision Support

n

n




- Deliver granular P&L; analysis across channels (General Trade, Up-to-date Trade, E-Commerce, Alternate Channels), customer accounts, and SKU levels.
n
- Develop dynamic financial dashboards, forward-looking insights, and scenario planning models to advise senior leadership on margin optimization and growth opportunities.
n
- Monitor competitor pricing dynamics, input cost pressures, and trade terms to maintain market competitiveness without compromising company profitability.

4. Credit Control & Distributor Financial Health

n

- Implement credit policies, set customer credit limits, and monitor accounts receivable aging to mitigate credit default risk.
n
- Oversee distributor financial health, claim reconciliation disputes, and credit memo issuance processes.
n
- Lead the annual commercial budgeting process, quarterly re-forecasts, and monthly trade spend alignment.
n
- Track and present monthly commercial performance, highlighting variances against budget/forecast, risks, and proposed corrective actions.
