Design & review the safety policy for the plant.
Process review of health and safety performance.
Comply with all applicable health and safety statutory regulations (Maharashtra Factory Act,MPCB) .
Maintain and continually upgrade health and safety standards at the plant.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits regularly and take all measures to identify fire and safety hazards, arising at plants and around the plant.
Educate & Train employees in Safety & health parameters.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations from all the employees in the plant.
Implement Behaviors Based Safety Program at the plant.
Consider appropriate action in case of a violation of Safety act in the premises.
Periodical verification of all safety equipment to ensure quality in good manner.
Identify the hazard and risks of fire within the plant and control them with appropriate measures.
Create documented procedures and provide them in place for protected evacuation in case of emergency
Ensure Safety of the employees during use of work equipment.




Control the exposure of people and the workplace to substance hazardous to health, to prevent injury, illness or damage.
Incorporate ergonomic principles in all aspects of the working workplace in order to prevent injury and ill-health.

Education Qualification required
Diploma/ Degree in EHS.

Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Experience
3- 7 year experience in any FMCG (Prefer Same Industry)
Knowledge of all Safety, Health and Environment Regulations and Statutory Compliances.
