Job Title: Finance Controller

Reports To: CFO / Director – Finance

Job Summary The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory & regulatory compliance and financial planning. The role involves managing accounting functions, internal controls, financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
Financial Reporting
Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Forecasting
Lead the periodic financial forecasts processes.
Monitor financial performance and analyze variances.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws,



and financial reporting requirements.
Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
Team Management
Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team.
Allocate responsibilities and ensure efficient workflow in the finance department.
Process Improvement
Identify prospects for automation and financial process improvement.
Implement financial systems and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
Qualified Chartered Accountant is a must.

Experience
7–12 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Experience in financial reporting, compliance, and audit management.
Prior leadership or team management experience preferred.
