Chartered Accountant Finance Department, Metalex

Position Summary The Chartered Accountant will play a pivotal role in Metalex finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory support. This position reports to the Managing Director and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and control.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and IFRS
Lead internal and external audits, coordinate with statutory auditors, and implement audit recommendations
Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax, GST filings, and transfer pricing documentation
Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses; present insights and corrective actions to leadership
Monitor cash flow, working capital requirements, and liquidity planning
Conduct financial analysis for recent projects, capital investments, and cost-optimization initiatives
Maintain and enhance internal control processes, ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards




Support ERP implementation and continuous improvement of finance systems and reporting tools
Provide ad hoc financial modelling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment for strategic decisions

Required Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification recognized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
Minimum 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, direct and indirect tax regulations

Proficiency in ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel modelling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a quick-paced workplace
Exposure to M&A; financial due diligence and integration processes
