About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and shop-floor-savvy Head of PPC to drive end-to-end production planning, capacity management, and inventory optimization for our sheet-metal pressing and stamping operations in Chakan. You will turn customer demand into seamlessly executed operational schedules while maximizing plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Capacity Planning: Oversee master scheduling, capacity loading, die/tool planning, and material allocation to guarantee on-time customer delivery.

Inventory & WIP Management: Control raw material (RM) and work-in-progress (WIP) levels, keeping inventory lean while minimizing scrap, rejections, and material shortage downtime.

Data & ERP Discipline: Maintain absolute master-data accuracy across ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics) to fuel forecasting and continuous improvement.

Performance Tracking: Build robust PPC dashboards and monitor essential metrics (OEE, Plan vs. Actual, Schedule Adherence, Changeover Times, and Lead Times).





Cross-Functional Leadership : Lead shop-floor teams and collaborate closely with Production, Stores, Purchase, Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance, and Sales.

What We Are Looking For

Education : Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience : 10–15+ years in sheet-metal stamping, pressing, or automotive component manufacturing.

Technical Mastery: Expertise in MRP/MPS, BOM/routing management, press capacity calculations, and Lean manufacturing.

System Proficiency: Solid hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel data analysis.

Leadership : Proven ability to lead under shop-floor pressure, make quick data-driven decisions, and manage cross-departmental alignment.

A agile PPC leader who bridges the gap between high-level ERP planning and real-world shop-floor execution—balancing presses, dies, materials, and changeovers to deliver results reliably.
