Junior Accountant – Steel Manufacturing

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of our steel manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day accounting transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, receipts and payments.
Maintain cash, bank and ledger accounts and assist with bank reconciliation.
Verify purchase invoices, GRNs and supporting documents.
Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and assist with reconciliation.
Assist in preparation of daily/monthly MIS and accounting reports.
Support inventory accounting and reconciliation of raw materials, stores, WIP and finished goods.
Assist in tracking production, consumption, dispatch and cost-related data.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.




Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Sales and Commercial teams for accounting-related matters.
Perform other accounting and finance activities as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting; manufacturing/steel industry experience preferred.
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
Positive knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
Valuable numerical, reconciliation and documentation skills.
Willingness to work in a plant/manufacturing setting.

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com preferred

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
