About the role

Support and maintain Oracle databases and C++ applications running on Linux, ensuring high availability and performance in a agile environment.

Key responsibilities
Manage Oracle databases including installation, patching, backup, recovery, and performance optimization.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for C++ applications on Linux platforms.
Monitor and manage batch jobs and workflows using Control-M to ensure timely task completion.
Collaborate with teams to optimize application releases and resolve incidents promptly.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize system disruptions.

Required skills and experience
4 to 8 years of experience with Oracle database administration and support.




Proficient in C++ application support within Linux settings.
Solid understanding of database security, compliance, and patch management.
Experience with backup, recovery, and performance tuning of Oracle databases.
Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Control-M and incident management processes.

Nice to have
Experience in proactive system alert monitoring and problem management.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business support requirements.
