IOT Embedded Firmware Engineer

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional firmware development experience.
Robust proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded systems.
Experience developing firmware for IoT (Internet of Things) products and connected devices.
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, and real-time systems.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or MQTT.
Experience with typical embedded debugging tools.
Understanding of embedded software architecture.
Experience using version control systems such as Git.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.





Preferred Qualifications
Experience with RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, etc.).
Knowledge of secure firmware development, bootloaders, OTA updates, and cybersecurity best practices for IoT devices.
Experience working in a cross-functional product development workplace with hardware, software, and test engineers.
Familiarity with cloud-connected IoT ecosystems (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or similar platforms).
